How Our Data Evidence Examination Process Works
Our forensics data evidence examination process begins with our unique “Initial Examination Package”. In many cases this package provides all the evidence a client requires. This process uses the most powerful forensics tools available and includes all of the following:
- The creation of a Certified Forensic Image of the hard drive or other media
- The assembly of a Detailed Master Forensics Search Index
- Several hours of a Certified Computer Examiner’s time searching for evidence based on background and keywords provided by you and/or your client
- A presentation of preliminary search results for your review
- A “joint live search” session with you and/or your client when applicable
- A digital report outlining the search results with evidence files attached
If expert testimony, additional searching, reporting, or “joint live searches” are requested to find more evidence or examine evidence for deeper relevancy, these activities are billed on an hourly basis. Contact us for current rates and more details.
